Vegastars Deposit NZ: Methods, Minimums and Which Ones You Can Cash Out To

Figures come from Vegastars’ terms and conditions (T&C) and Help Centre, checked 2 October 2026. Deposit methods and where each one pays out

Read the last column first: it shows whether the same method can take your withdrawal.

The coins are BTC, ETH, USDT, TRX, LTC, XRP, USDC, DOGE, BNB, BCH, DAI, ALGO, MATIC, BUSD, SHFL and SOL. Apple Pay and Google Pay aren’t among the methods Vegastars publishes for New Zealand. The cashier lists the methods open to your account and the exact limits for each before you confirm.

Minimum and maximum deposits

Clause 11.4 of the T&C sets the minimum deposit at NZ$20. Vegastars’ promotion pages and FAQ add an exception: your first three deposits can be as small as NZ$15, but a deposit under NZ$20 carries no bonus. Neither source says whether a NZ$15 deposit uses up a welcome stage, so if you want the package, make each of the first three deposits NZ$20 or more. Maximums are set per method and shown in the cashier. Clause 11.8 adds a source-of-funds review for deposits above €50,000 in a day, and under clause 11.7 a bonus above €250 waits for verification before it is credited, a line any full NZ$2,000 match crosses.

A market report from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) put the median New Zealand card payment to offshore gambling merchants at NZ$24 in the year to September 2025; crypto and e-wallets are only partly in that data. So the typical Kiwi card deposit lands just above Vegastars’ floor, and at NZ$20 the first-stage match is the same 100% as at NZ$2,000.

How fast a Vegastars deposit is credited

The Help Centre says card and e-wallet deposits normally reach the balance at once, though now and then one takes up to 24 hours. Crypto arrives within minutes of network confirmation, and the confirmation time depends on the blockchain. The welcome offer (40x wagering, T&Cs apply) is chosen at the deposit step with no code, so decide on bonus or no bonus before you confirm. If money has left your account but the balance hasn’t moved after 24 hours, give live chat the time, the amount and the payment reference.

Pick the method that matches your cash-out

Withdrawals normally return the way the money came in, although Vegastars may switch a card payout to bank transfer. The route, and with it the speed of your Vegastars cash-out, is chosen at the deposit step, before you place a single bet.

• Visa. Clause 12.3.1 excludes eight countries from Visa payouts, among them the USA, India and Japan, but not New Zealand. After approval, which takes about an hour for most requests, the payout leaves in about 20 minutes.
• Mastercard. Clause 12.3.2 limits Mastercard payouts to a list of European countries without New Zealand. The money comes back by bank transfer: 2–3 business days per the Help Centre, up to 5 under clause 12.5.
• Skrill and Neteller. Payouts return to the e-wallet; the Help Centre puts Skrill at minutes after approval and gives no separate figure for Neteller.
• Crypto. Pay in USDT and you cash out in USDT.

Two account rules sit underneath. Each wallet is either fiat or crypto, and its type can be changed only when it’s empty, so pick NZD or crypto when you open a Vegastars account. And clauses 10.8 and 12.12 require your deposit to be wagered at least once before it can be withdrawn.

One deposit, two routes back

Aroha K. from Tauranga pays NZ$100 by Kiwibank Visa debit at 7.15pm NZDT on Monday 19 October 2026 and takes the first stage: NZ$100 bonus, 50 free spins and NZ$8,000 of wagering at 40x (T&Cs apply). She finishes with NZ$420, an illustrative result better than average, and asks for it at 8.00pm on Friday 23 October. Approval comes at about 9.00pm, and the Visa payout is on its way by about 9.20pm.

Had she paid by Mastercard, the same NZ$420 would go by bank transfer. Labour Day falls on Monday 26 October, so the money would arrive between Wednesday 28 October and Monday 2 November, up to ten days after her request.

New Zealand banks and gambling blocks

We found no primary source showing New Zealand banks blocking casino deposits across the board. Three big banks offer a block the customer switches on.

• ANZ. An “online gambling” card setting in goMoney. Off works at once; back on takes 48 hours. It can also stop in-person gambling payments that run over the Visa network.
• Westpac. A gambling block for its credit and debit cards, leaving physical venues unaffected.
• Kiwibank. A gambling block option since April 2021.
• ASB and BNZ. On the pages we checked, only general controls for online or overseas card purchases.

The Problem Gambling Foundation names the same three banks. If a card that worked last week is declined, check your banking app first, and if you set the block yourself to cut back, leave it on. We found no data on whether New Zealand credit cards currently go through at offshore casinos. Does Vegastars take POLi?

Some of Vegastars’ New Zealand lobby pages list “Visa/Mastercard, POLi, and various Cryptocurrencies”. We couldn’t check a logged-in NZ cashier, and POLi’s participation criteria exclude unlicensed online casinos. Vegastars is operated from outside New Zealand and does not hold a New Zealand licence. No online casino holds one yet: under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026, the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) expects to start issuing up to 15 licences from early 2027. Plan around cards, e-wallets or crypto, and if a POLi button ever appears in your cashier, ask support how it is processed before using it.

The NZD wallet and the euro behind it

Clause 5.1 accepts four fiat currencies, NZD among them, and New Zealand accounts can hold an NZD wallet. Underneath, clause 12.4 names the euro as the internal operating currency, so a conversion can apply, whatever Vegastars’ NZ marketing copy says about NZD deposits needing none. Clause 10.8 also reserves the right to pass on processing costs, and there is no published deposit fee table for New Zealand. According to the operator’s footer, payments are processed by Sultucia Ltd (Cyprus, HE 464112), so check your bank’s charges for overseas card payments too. Three thresholds are written in euros and never converted: the €50,000-a-day source-of-funds check, the €250 bonus-verification line and a €10 monthly fee after 12 months without a login (clause 14.1). If you’re close to one, work out the NZ$ figure at that day’s exchange rate.

How to deposit crypto at Vegastars

1. Choose a crypto wallet at sign-up, or switch an empty NZD wallet to crypto.
2. Open the cashier and select the coin.
3. Copy the deposit details shown for that coin and send from your own wallet or exchange.
4. Wait for network confirmations; the balance updates once they are in.

Check the coin and network twice, because blockchain transfers can’t be reversed. The bonus terms we read exclude no payment method; whether the welcome offer is open to your wallet shows at the deposit step. One package applies per person, household, IP address, email, phone and payment method (Bonus T&C 3.3), so a shared card or home means one package.

When a Vegastars deposit isn’t working

• A bank block or card control. ANZ’s switch, a Westpac or Kiwibank block, or an ASB or BNZ online-purchase control; your banking app shows which.
• The method limit. The cashier shows each method’s minimum and maximum; an amount outside them won’t go through.
• The wrong wallet type. A crypto wallet can’t take a card payment until it is empty and switched to NZD, and vice versa.
• A check on your account. Large deposits can bring a source-of-funds request, and Vegastars may ask for proof of payment: a card photo showing the first six and last four digits, or a statement with the Vegastars transaction. Read the Vegastars proof of address rules too, since Revolut and Wise statements aren’t accepted.
• A time-out or self-exclusion. Deposits and promotions stay closed until it ends.

If none of these fits, go to live chat, as Vegastars has no phone line. Switching on a VPN won’t help either: it breaks clause 9.7 of the terms.

Deposit limits

The simplest moment to set limits at Vegastars is before the first deposit. Caps run per day, week or month; a lower limit applies at once, raising or removing one takes 24 hours, and the cap covers every method, crypto included. Gambling is for adults 18+.
