Vegastars VIP and Loyalty: 17 Levels, Cashback and the Referral Programme in NZ$

Short answer: The Vegastars loyalty ladder has 17 levels, grouped in 7. Points come at 1 per $1 of real-money bets on eligible games, and bets from bonus balance earn none. Starter, the first level, already gives Instant Cashback paid as real money with no wagering, along with a Daily Bonus. Copper (10,000 points) brings a $5 level-up reward, and Bronze (20,000 points) pays $20 and switches on weekly cashback, listed at 3%. Referrals run on a ladder of their own with 10 levels, paying NZ$50 to NZ$130 per milestone plus a 10–25% share of referred friends’ net gaming revenue. A friend counts once they deposit from NZ$20 and pass KYC levels 1 and 2. 18+, T&Cs apply.

We put NZ$ figures on both sides of the loyalty programme: what the ladder hands back for each dollar staked, and what the house edge charges to reach Copper and Bronze, the levels most players actually get to. Thresholds, rewards and percentages are taken from Vegastars’ loyalty and VIP pages and its Help Centre, which we checked on 2 October 2026. Where those sources disagree, you’ll see both versions. Payments, the licence and the welcome package are left to our guide to Vegastars for NZ players.

How Vegastars loyalty points add up

Each $1 bet on an eligible game earns 1 loyalty point, and the running total sets your level. Vegastars writes the rate as $1 and names no currency. Our sums assume an NZD wallet, which makes it one point per NZ$1 staked. Points track stakes, so a NZ$2 spin earns 2 points whether it wins or loses. Reaching 10,000 points means putting NZ$10,000 through the games: 10,000 spins at NZ$1, or 50,000 at NZ$0.20.

Bonus money earns nothing. Under Bonus Terms clause 6.4, bets placed with bonus balance generate no VIP progression. It matters if you take the three-deposit welcome offer (18+, T&Cs apply, 40x deposit plus bonus). A NZ$100 first deposit with a NZ$100 bonus carries NZ$8,000 of wagering, and that NZ$8,000 earns not a single point towards Copper. Skipping the bonus avoids the problem: a cash balance has no requirement to clear, and eligible bets score points from the first spin.

Which games are eligible isn’t listed on the pages we read, and nor is whether live tables earn at the same rate as pokies. Before planning around a level, place a few bets and see how your progress moves in your account.

The 17 Vegastars VIP levels and what each adds

Vegastars calls the first group Starter and the last High Roller; the five in between we label by their base level. Point thresholds are published for the first six levels only. The level-up rewards come from the Help Centre article “VIP Levels and Level-Up Rewards”, which quotes them in $. On an NZD account, your Rewards section shows them in NZ$.

# Level Group Points needed Level-up reward What opens at this level
1 Starter Starter 0 None (entry level) Instant Cashback, Daily Bonus
2 Copper Starter 10,000 $5 Level-up cash rewards begin
3 Bronze Bronze 20,000 $20 Weekly cashback, 3% per the loyalty page
4 Bronze Premier Bronze 70,000 $20 Weekly cashback 5%
5 Silver Silver 500,000 $50 Weekly cashback 10%
6 Silver Premier Silver 2,500,000 $50 Weekly cashback 15%
7 Gold Gold Not published $100 Cashback rate left blank from here up
8 Gold Premier Gold Not published $100 No new perk listed
9 Platinum Platinum Not published $250 VIP host per the Help Centre; F1 and UFC events shown from here on the VIP page
10 Platinum Premier Platinum Not published $250 No new perk listed
11 Platinum Elite Platinum Not published $500 No new perk listed
12 Diamond Diamond Not published $750 Bespoke Rewards Setup
13 Diamond Premier Diamond Not published $1,000 No new perk listed
14 Diamond Elite Diamond Not published $2,500 No new perk listed
15 Black High Roller Not published $5,000 VIP host and exclusive events (F1, UFC) per the loyalty table
16 Black Ultra High Roller Not published $10,000 No new perk listed
17 Black Ultimate High Roller Not published $25,000 No new perk listed

Where a row says “No new perk listed”, the tables we read add nothing at that level, and perks from lower levels carry on. The Help Centre’s rewards from Copper to Black Ultimate total $45,595. Just $145 of that falls within the six levels with published thresholds, and the sixth of those, Silver Premier, already asks for 2,500,000 points, which is NZ$2.5 million in stakes.

What a level costs in NZ$

The loyalty page leaves one cost out: the house edge on the stakes that earn the points. Work it out as stakes × (100% − RTP). Gates of Olympus 1000 has a published RTP of 96.50%, so the edge is 3.5%, which comes to NZ$35 per 1,000 points.

Level reached Points = real-money stakes Theoretical cost at 96.50% RTP Level-up rewards collected by then Weekly cashback rate
Copper 10,000 = NZ$10,000 NZ$350 $5 Not yet
Bronze 20,000 = NZ$20,000 NZ$700 $25 3%
Bronze Premier 70,000 = NZ$70,000 NZ$2,450 $45 5%
Silver 500,000 = NZ$500,000 NZ$17,500 $95 10%
Silver Premier 2,500,000 = NZ$2,500,000 NZ$87,500 $145 15%

Bronze is the realistic target. It takes NZ$20,000 of real-money bets, roughly 20,000 spins at NZ$1, and the theoretical cost comes to NZ$700; by then the level-up rewards add up to $25. Instant Cashback gives back part of the stakes, but with no published percentage we can’t put a price on it. All of these figures are averages over a very large number of spins; any one stretch of play can come out far better or far worse.

Next to the edge on the stakes behind them, level rewards are small, so they make most sense as a by-product of play you’d do anyway. The game you choose also changes the bill. Some studios supply one pokie in several RTP versions, and a lower version raises the cost of every level; check the info panel against the Vegastars RTP figures we verified.

Instant Cashback and weekly cashback

Instant Cashback from the first level

Every account gets Instant Cashback from Starter onwards. It is paid as real money, without wagering or a code, and appears under Rewards in your account. Vegastars doesn’t publish the percentage, saying only that it depends on your VIP level, so your own rate becomes clear once you’ve played and checked Rewards.

Weekly cashback from Bronze

Weekly cashback is added at Bronze, 20,000 points. The loyalty page lists 3% at Bronze, 5% at Bronze Premier, 10% at Silver and 15% at Silver Premier, and leaves the cells empty from Gold up. Next to each rate the page data carries an unexplained field called cashback_wager (10x, 8x, 5x, 3x). If that means wagering on the cashback, a Bronze payout has to be played through ten times before withdrawal, and 3% is worth less than it looks. Nor do the pages we read say what the percentage is calculated on. These rates rest on a single source, so treat them as indicative until your own appears in Rewards, and ask live chat what the wagering field means.

Daily Bonus, VIP host and the top-tier perks

The loyalty table lists the Daily Bonus from Starter, but what it contains isn’t described on any page we read; you’ll see it in Rewards after you sign in. Some promotions sit outside the ladder: the $10,000 Pragmatic Weekly Race, Challenges that pay cash prizes, and weekly free spins on Thursdays. Which of them needs a code is covered under Vegastars promo code for existing players.

Further up the ladder the perks become personal. Bespoke Rewards Setup appears from Diamond, and the VIP page mentions Bespoke Tournaments for its top members. A VIP host and invitations to exclusive events such as Formula 1 and UFC are kept for the top levels, though Vegastars’ own sources disagree on where exactly they begin (the list further down sets out the differences).

Clause 12.6 of Vegastars’ terms sets a withdrawal cap of $50,000 a month and pays larger sums in monthly instalments. The same clause lets the casino make exceptions for VIP players at its discretion; no level is attached, and nothing is promised. The standard rules are on our page about Vegastars withdrawal limits.

The loyalty pages don’t tie Vegastars VIP Blackjack, one of the four live tables carrying the brand name, to any level. Our page on Vegastars blackjack and the other live tables explains how they count towards a bonus.

Be careful with .vip addresses. Vegastars’ settings list four login-only .vip domains, and on one of them, vsblack.vip, the responsible gambling text names a different operator, Vesperano N.V. If a VIP invitation points there, check with live chat on www.vegastars12.com before acting on it.

The Vegastars referral programme

The referral programme is a second ladder, this one paying whoever shares the link. Vegastars lists 10 referral levels, each reached at a set number of friends who have deposited. A level brings a one-off NZ$ reward and fixes the revenue share you earn on those friends’ play.

Per head, the milestone rewards are small: NZ$850 in total for 300 qualifying friends, under NZ$3 each. Most of the value sits in the revenue share, which Vegastars calculates as NGR × your revenue-share percentage for each calendar month. NGR, net gaming revenue, generally means the casino’s takings from those players’ bets after their winnings; Vegastars’ fuller definition isn’t on the pages we read. The rules describe the share as ongoing, and the rate rises from 10% to 25% as you climb. A purely illustrative case: your referred friends produce NZ$300 of NGR in October while you’re at level 2, and 10% of it gives NZ$30 to claim from 1 November.

What has to happen before a friend counts

After that the reward becomes available. Milestone rewards and revenue share both reach your balance with no wagering attached. Anyone you invite must be 18 or over, and the New Zealand status set out further down applies to them just as it does to you.

Finding your referral link or code

There’s no public code to type in. What gets shared as a Vegastars referral code is a personal link tied to someone’s account. To find yours, sign in and open Referrals in the casino’s top menu, next to Promotions, VIP and Tournament; the programme page with the levels is at vegastars12.com/en-NZ/referral/. If the link doesn’t appear, the Help Centre has a Referral section and live chat can point you to it. A code posted on a forum is somebody else’s link, and the rewards in the table would go to whoever shared it.

Where Vegastars’ own pages disagree

Set a wager limit before you chase a level

A wager limit at Vegastars counts exactly what loyalty points count, the gross amount you bet, and winnings don’t reduce the counter. Cap your bets at NZ$5,000 a month and you earn no more than 5,000 points that month, which puts Copper two months away and Bronze four. Deposit and loss limits work alongside it. A lower deposit limit applies at once; an increase or removal waits 24 hours. We’d set Vegastars wager limits and the other tools first, before a level-up target starts deciding your stakes.

Vegastars is operated from outside New Zealand and does not hold a New Zealand licence. No online casino holds one yet: under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026, the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) expects to start issuing up to 15 licences from early 2027. The DIA says New Zealanders are not breaking the law by playing at overseas casinos that were already serving New Zealand before 1 May 2026, but it describes this as an unregulated activity with no guarantee of player safety. New Zealand player protections do not apply. From 1 December 2026, providers that have not applied for a New Zealand licence must stop serving New Zealand customers. On 2 October 2026 it wasn’t public whether Vegastars’ operator had applied, and both a loyalty level and a referral share pay off month by month, so that open question belongs in your calculation. For the current position, see the DIA’s guidance for players.

Vegastars VIP FAQ

What are the VIP levels at Vegastars?

There are 17, in seven groups, running from Starter and Copper up to the High Roller group of Black, Black Ultra and Black Ultimate. Point thresholds are published for the first six only: Starter 0, Copper 10,000, Bronze 20,000, Bronze Premier 70,000, Silver 500,000 and Silver Premier 2,500,000.

Do bonus bets earn loyalty points at Vegastars?

No. Bonus Terms clause 6.4 excludes bets made with bonus balance from VIP progression, so clearing a welcome bonus adds no points. Only real-money bets on eligible games count, at 1 point per $1.

When does weekly cashback start at Vegastars?

At Bronze: 20,000 points, which is NZ$20,000 of real-money bets on an NZD wallet. The loyalty page shows 3% at Bronze rising to 15% at Silver Premier and leaves higher levels blank; the cashback-wagering figure printed beside each rate isn’t explained.

How does the Vegastars referral programme work?

You share your personal link. A friend qualifies after registering through it, depositing at least NZ$20 and passing KYC levels 1 and 2, as long as you have wagered €250 in real money yourself. Ten levels pay NZ$50 to NZ$130 per milestone and set a revenue share of 10% to 25% of your referred friends’ NGR.

When is Vegastars referral revenue paid?

Monthly. Vegastars works out NGR × your revenue-share percentage for each calendar month, and the amount can be claimed from the 1st of the following month. Neither milestone rewards nor revenue share carry any wagering.

Is there a VIP host at Vegastars?

Yes, at the top levels. The Help Centre offers a host from the Platinum group, while the loyalty table lists one only at Black, so personal contact starts somewhere between level 9 and level 15. Neither source publishes the points needed for those levels.
