Is Vegastars Legit? Owner, Tobique Licence and the Real Domain, Checked

Short answer: Vegastars is a real offshore casino, and the company behind it can be traced. Neptune Projects S.R.L. (company number 3-102-900308, Costa Rica) is on the Tobique Gaming Commission register as a B2C licence holder valid to 22 August 2027, and the commission’s validator showed VALID on 2 October 2026. Four things keep us cautious: there is no New Zealand licence, the licence number is one that only the operator’s footer shows, Trustpilot has it at 3.2/5 from 368 reviews with repeated payout complaints, and a crowd of look-alike domains surrounds the brand. Its own advice is to trust only vegastars12.com.

Below we trace who stands behind the Vegastars online casino, then hand you the main checks to repeat on your own. They take a couple of minutes. Facts date from 2 October 2026 unless stated, and our sources, with the order we use them in, are set out in how we review Vegastars.

Who owns and runs Vegastars

The owner and operator named in clause 1.2 of the Vegastars terms and conditions is Neptune Projects S.R.L., company number 3-102-900308. The footer and the licence validator carry the same name. Costa Rica’s tax registry also holds a record under that number; the public snapshot we read is dated 30 June 2025.

New Zealand licence None in the terms, though the search description of its responsible gambling page wrongly claims one The DIA hasn’t issued any yet None

Nest Freses is a residential condominium development, so the footer gives a registered address and we wouldn’t take it for an office. Clause 16.4 allows three days from settlement to dispute a bet, and no New Zealand body plays any part in the process.

Sultucia Ltd, the payment agent named in the footer

Sultucia Ltd (Cyprus, HE 464112) processes the payments, according to the operator’s footer. The Cyprus companies register has it incorporated on 12 August 2024 and active at Kennedy 12-14, Flat 101, 1087 Nicosia, a newer address than the footer’s (register data of 29 September 2026). We didn’t find it in the Central Bank of Cyprus lists of payment or e-money institutions. Its part in your payments rests on the footer alone.

Casiny and VoltRush, the sister brands

VoltRush (voltrush.com) names the same company and licence number in its terms, though with a different address. Casiny (casiny3.com) shows the same licence details in its footer. A complaint about any of the three therefore ends up with one company and one commission. Vegastars’ responsible gambling policy also says self-exclusion covers every brand of the licence holder. Get support to confirm that in writing before you rely on it.

The Tobique licence, checked against the register

The commission’s public register gives the operator a single line: Neptune Projects S.R.L, 2027-08-22, B2C. That is the company, the expiry date and a business-to-consumer licence. When we checked, the register held 192 entries and no licence numbers. The validator behind the footer seal named the same company, listed www.vegastars.com and www.vegastars12.com as registered websites and showed “Operating status: VALID”. It also cited the Tobique Gaming Act 2023, the law the footer gets wrong.

The commission is a body of the Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk) in New Brunswick. Canada has provincial and federal regulators; this is neither. Complaints to it go through the link in the seal, supplied by DLAG (Differentia Licensing Advisory Group), an intermediary on the Isle of Man. When the DIA assesses licence applicants, it counts regulators in the UK, Ontario, Denmark and Malta as comparable. Tobique is not on that list. A separate page covers what a Tobique Gaming Commission licence requires of an operator.

The operator’s footer lists licence no. 0000020, and so do the Casiny and VoltRush footers. The register prints no numbers, so match the company name and expiry date instead. One Casino Guru complainant reported the seal showing as invalid in late 2025 or early 2026. It read VALID when we opened it, but that can change, so click it again whenever a site feels off.

Four licences quoted for Vegastars, and the one in a register

Sites ranking for the brand name can’t agree on its licence. We counted four versions:

2. Click the seal Vegastars footer A page on validate.thetgc.ca: Neptune Projects S.R.L., www.vegastars.com and www.vegastars12.com, VALID Another domain, another company, or your site missing from the list

5. Ask the brand Help Centre article on phishing sites “Only trust vegastars12.com” Any page sending you to sign in elsewhere

Anyone can copy a seal and point it wherever they like. Check the domain of the validator page as carefully as the word VALID. If the seal and the register ever disagree, go with the register, which sits on the commission’s own site.

The real Vegastars domain and its mirrors

Vegastars’ Help Centre article on avoiding phishing scam sites boils down to a single line: “Only trust vegastars12.com”. The site’s own settings list eleven domains. We tested every one of them on 2 October 2026.

You may also run into vegastars4.com and vegastars10.com. Neither is on Vegastars’ list, so treat both as unofficial. This guide carries the brand in its domain too, with no login form: a Vegastars account opens only at vegastars12.com. Who held the top 10 for 13 Vegastars searches (Brave Search NZ, 2 October 2026). Source: Brave Search with New Zealand settings, 130 top-10 positions.

Of the 130 top-10 results, 66 went to 24 domains that carry the name or a near spelling and aren’t on Vegastars’ list. The brand’s own domains took 10. Several of those look-alikes call themselves official. We couldn’t measure Google automatically from our setup, so its order may differ. The warning signs are taken one at a time in how to spot a fake Vegastars site.

Has Vegastars been hacked?

We have no information either way about a breach at Vegastars, and we won’t guess. What the brand itself warns about is phishing: copies of the site on other domains, built to collect logins and card details. That is the reason for the single-domain rule. If you typed your password into any other address, change it at vegastars12.com straight away and tell [email protected].

Trustpilot, Casino Guru and the payout complaints

The vegastars.com profile on Trustpilot read 3.2/5 when we checked on 2 October 2026. Its 368 reviews are sharply split, 50% five-star against 32% one-star, and 180 of them were written in the previous 12 months. Look-alike domains run profiles too, so make sure the page belongs to vegastars.com before you quote a score. Our breakdown of the Vegastars Trustpilot rating goes through the newest reviews one by one.

Most of the one-star reviews posted in July and August 2026 concern Vegastars payouts: money expected in 3–5 days that took one to two weeks, sometimes after a request for bank statements. When reviewers do praise something, it tends to be the live chat. On Casino Guru, the four complaints we found all came from Australian players. Two were settled with a payout, one of them US$33,276 withdrawn in XRP, and in the other two the player stopped replying and the case was closed.

How to check that the games are fair

Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt and Evolution are among the 37 studios behind the games, which reach Vegastars through the aggregators Terragon Gaming and AleaPlay. Return to player (RTP) is set in each studio’s software. Some studios, Hacksaw among them, offer casinos several settings, and then the game’s info panel shows the version you’re playing. Read the figure there. Many slots open in demo mode without an account. What we didn’t find on the en-NZ pages was a testing-lab certificate for the casino itself.

Where Vegastars stands in New Zealand

Vegastars is operated from outside New Zealand and does not hold a New Zealand licence. No online casino holds one yet: under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026, the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) expects to start issuing up to 15 licences from early 2027.

The DIA says New Zealanders are not breaking the law by playing at overseas casinos that were already serving New Zealand before 1 May 2026, but it describes this as an unregulated activity with no guarantee of player safety. New Zealand player protections do not apply. From 1 December 2026, providers that have not applied for a New Zealand licence must stop serving New Zealand customers.

Nothing public shows whether Neptune Projects S.R.L. has applied. This page deals with the operator; for the law, the dates and what happens to an account, see is Vegastars legal in New Zealand.

Is Vegastars legit: FAQ

Is Vegastars legit for New Zealand players?

The operator is. Neptune Projects S.R.L. is incorporated in Costa Rica, sits in the Tobique register until 22 August 2027 and read VALID on the validator on 2 October 2026. What it lacks is a New Zealand licence, so New Zealand player protections don’t apply.

Who owns Vegastars Casino?

Clause 1.2 of the terms names Neptune Projects S.R.L., company number 3-102-900308, registered in Curridabat, San José, Costa Rica. VoltRush and Casiny belong to the same company. According to the operator’s footer, Sultucia Ltd of Cyprus processes payments.

Is the Tobique licence issued by the Canadian government?

No. It comes from the Tobique Gaming Commission, a body of the Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk) in New Brunswick, which grants licences under the Tobique Gaming Act 2023. Neither a province nor the federal government issues it, and for players in New Zealand it carries no local protection.

What is the real Vegastars website?

www.vegastars12.com. The Help Centre names vegastars12.com as the only domain to trust, and it shares the commission’s validator with vegastars.com, which redirects to it. vegastars1.com and vegastars11.com forward there too. Any other spelling should be treated as unofficial.

Can New Zealand players trust Vegastars with their money?

With care. The operator and licence are real, and of the four Casino Guru complaints we found, two ended in a payout. Against that, no New Zealand regulator stands behind your balance, disputes go to EGIS FZCO in the UAE, and payouts in recent Trustpilot complaints took one to two weeks. Vegastars’ own advice is to verify your identity before the first deposit, and we’d follow it.

Where does the Vegastars licence number come from?

Only from footers. The operator’s footer lists licence no. 0000020, and the Casiny and VoltRush footers carry the same figure. The Tobique register prints no numbers, so compare what it does print: Neptune Projects S.R.L, valid to 22 August 2027, licence type B2C.
