Vegastars Withdrawal NZ: Payout Times, the $50,000 Cap and What to Do If It’s Late

Short answer: Vegastars approves most withdrawals within about an hour and large ones within 24 hours. Visa, Skrill and crypto payouts then leave the casino in about 20 minutes; bank transfers take 2–3 business days, up to 5. Mastercard payouts aren’t offered in New Zealand, so a Mastercard deposit comes back by bank transfer. The cap is $50,000 a month, and wins above $10,000 in a day get extra checks. Recent Trustpilot complaints describe one- to two-week waits, so verify your account before you cash out.

Here we follow one Vegastars withdrawal from request to bank account, counting days on the New Zealand calendar. Our sources are Vegastars’ Help Centre and its terms and conditions (T&C), checked 2 October 2026, with clause numbers so you can look each rule up. Games, bonuses and the licence are in our Vegastars Casino New Zealand overview.

Withdrawal methods for New Zealand players

Payouts normally go back to the method you deposited with, and for a card Vegastars can switch the payout to a bank transfer. In effect, the deposit method decides the exit route. Deposits are covered in our guide to Vegastars payment methods. This table is about withdrawals.

Method Pays out to NZ? Approval Transfer after approval Minimum per withdrawal
Visa Yes (T&C 12.3.1) About 1 h; up to 24 h if large About 20 min, then your bank posts it Shown in the cashier
Mastercard No card payouts; paid by bank transfer (T&C 12.3.2) About 1 h; up to 24 h if large 2–3 business days, up to 5 Shown in the cashier
Skrill Yes About 1 h; up to 24 h if large About 20 min Shown in the cashier
Neteller Yes About 1 h; up to 24 h if large Not stated separately by the Help Centre Shown in the cashier
Crypto (16 coins) Yes, in the coin you deposited About 1 h; up to 24 h if large About 20 min, plus network confirmations Shown in the cashier for each coin
Bank transfer Yes About 1 h; up to 24 h if large 2–3 business days (Help Centre); 3–5 banking days (T&C 12.5) Shown in the cashier

Vegastars publishes no fixed minimums or maximums per withdrawal; the cashier shows the exact figures for your method before you confirm. Mastercard is where Kiwi players get caught out. Clause 12.3.2 restricts Mastercard payouts to a list of European countries, New Zealand isn’t on it, and so the money goes by bank, which stretches the transfer leg from minutes to as many as five business days. POLi is mentioned on some of Vegastars’ NZ pages, yet POLi’s own participation criteria exclude unlicensed online casinos. Don’t plan a cash-out around it.

The Kiwi cash-out clock, step by step

A withdrawal runs on three clocks, and Vegastars controls the first two.

  1. Approval. About an hour for most requests, up to 24 hours for large ones (Help Centre). An unverified account waits here.
  2. Transfer. Skrill, card and crypto payouts go out in about 20 minutes. A bank transfer takes 2–3 business days, and clause 12.5 allows up to 5.
  3. Your bank or wallet. From this point the timing belongs to your bank, the card network or the blockchain.

The New Zealand calendar comes into play through business days. Labour Day (Monday 26 October 2026), Christmas Day (Friday 25 December) and Boxing Day, observed on Monday 28 December, are not banking days. Some of Vegastars’ own NZ marketing copy describes withdrawals as immediate; our timings follow the Help Centre and the T&C instead.

Bars count calendar days, so a five-business-day transfer over a weekend is drawn as seven. The Labour Day bar is the bank route from the example below. The last bar comes from recent one-star reviews, and how often delays like that happen can’t be measured from outside Vegastars.

Aroha’s cash-out: one withdrawal on the NZ calendar

Hypothetical player. Modelled on Vegastars’ published terms, checked October 2026 — not a real transaction.

Aroha K. from Tauranga banks with Kiwibank. She deposited NZ$100 by Visa debit, verified her account when she signed up and came out of the welcome bonus wagering with NZ$420, an illustrative figure above the typical outcome. On Friday 23 October, at 8.00pm NZDT, she asks for the NZ$420 to go to her Visa. It is approved at around 9.00pm and leaves Vegastars as a card payout at around 9.20pm. From there, Kiwibank decides when it shows on her card.

What has to be in place before you withdraw

Four Vegastars withdrawal requirements account for most stalled cash-outs, and every one of them can be cleared in advance.

Vegastars itself recommends verifying straight after registration, which spares you a search for a bank statement while a win sits in pending.

Withdrawal limits: $50,000 a month and the $10,000 day

Under clause 12.6, withdrawals are capped at $50,000 a month, with anything above that paid in monthly instalments. The terms leave two things open: the currency of the cap, and whether “a month” means a calendar month or 30 days. Clause 12.11 then sends wins above $10,000 in a day through additional checks, which can include a source-of-funds request; it is separate from the NZ$10,000 cap on winnings from bonus play. VIP players can be given exceptions to the monthly cap at the casino’s discretion (also clause 12.6), though no threshold is published. What the programme does publish is on our page on Vegastars VIP levels, and Vegastars terms explained goes through clauses 12.6, 12.11 and 12.12.

Worked example: a NZ$60,000 win in late November

As an illustration, take a NZ$60,000 win from real-money play (bonus play could never pay out this much), with the first withdrawal requested by bank transfer on Friday 20 November 2026.

Part Amount Earliest request Approval Bank leg (up to 5 business days) Arrives by
1 NZ$50,000 Fri 20 November Up to 24 h, plus checks for a win over $10,000 in a day Mon 23 to Fri 27 November Fri 27 November
2 (calendar month) NZ$10,000 Tue 1 December About 1 h Wed 2 to Tue 8 December Tue 8 December, 18 days after the first request
2 (30-day month) NZ$10,000 Sun 20 December About 1 h Mon 21 to Tue 29 December, skipping Christmas Day and Boxing Day (observed Mon 28 December) Tue 29 December, 39 days after the first request

Whichever reading applies, the second part falls on or after 1 December 2026, the date dealt with further down this page. With a win this size, get support to tell you in writing how the remainder would be paid before you request the first part.

Pending withdrawals and how to cancel one

A pending withdrawal is one still waiting for approval, and in the first hour that is normal. Past 24 hours, look for an open check: unfinished KYC, a document to replace, a source-of-funds question or a deposit not yet wagered once. The status shows in Transaction History in your account, and a pending withdrawal can be cancelled from there too.

If you’re cancelling only to keep playing, take a break instead. Vegastars’ time-out blocks deposits and promotions for a day, a week, a month or three months, while withdrawals stay open during the pause. The other limits are on our responsible gambling page. Gambling is for adults 18+, and the Gambling Helpline is free on 0800 654 655 or by text to 8006, any time.

What players report about Vegastars payouts

Vegastars holds 3.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 368 reviews, with 50% five-star and 32% one-star ratings (checked 2 October 2026). We read the 20 most recent, dated 20 May to 7 September 2026: 12 gave one star, 12 mentioned withdrawals and 6 mentioned verification. The complaints keep coming back to waits of one to two weeks against the promised 3–5 days (one reviewer counted 14 days) and to requests for bank statements. The praise mostly goes to support, for quick and polite replies.

On Casino Guru we could trace four complaints, all from Australian players. Two were resolved, among them a large crypto withdrawal in XRP that was paid after verification. The other two were closed because the player stopped replying, so if you open a case, answer every message from the casino and from any mediator. These records are why our Vegastars score gives the published payout speed 4.5 out of 5 and the payout track record 3.5.

If your Vegastars withdrawal is late

First give it the published time: an hour for approval, 24 hours for a large amount, then up to five business days by bank. When that has run out, go through these steps in order.

  1. Check Transaction History. Note the status, date, amount and reference. A request still awaiting approval is being held at Vegastars’ end; one marked as paid means your next call is to your bank or wallet provider.
  2. Ask live chat what is outstanding. Contact Vegastars support and ask which check the withdrawal is waiting on. Chat is the main channel (Vegastars says it runs 24/7), and there is no phone line. Save the transcript.
  3. Send documents only through your account. Upload whatever is requested in the verification section, and take the KYC team’s call. Under clause 9.9, if the team can’t reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the account is blocked.
  4. Put it in writing. Email [email protected] with your username, the amount, method, request date, transaction reference and the chat transcript. Section 16 of the terms makes this the formal complaint route.
  5. Take it to the ADR provider. If the complaint isn’t settled, the terms name EGIS FZCO, a company in the United Arab Emirates, for alternative dispute resolution (egis.io, [email protected]).
  6. Use the licence seal. The operator, Neptune Projects S.R.L., is listed in the Tobique Gaming Commission public register, and a complaint to the commission starts from the licence seal on Vegastars’ site.

Disputed bets work to their own deadline, which under clause 16.4 is three days after the bet is settled. There is also no New Zealand regulator to escalate to. The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) describes play at offshore casinos as an unregulated activity with no guarantee of player safety, and New Zealand player protections do not apply.

Before 1 December 2026: the cap and pending requests

Anyone keeping a balance at Vegastars has a date to plan around. Vegastars is operated from outside New Zealand and does not hold a New Zealand licence. From 1 December 2026, providers that have not applied for one must stop serving New Zealand customers. By 2 October 2026, our last check, the DIA had published no results from its licence auction, and there was no public record of whether Vegastars’ operator took part. That turns two ordinary cashier rules into planning points.

Nothing in the documents we read says what Vegastars would do with New Zealand balances if it stopped serving the country. Keep screenshots of your balance and your transaction references. Our full checklist is on Vegastars after 1 December 2026, and for the current official position, see the DIA’s information for players.

Vegastars withdrawal FAQ

How long does a Vegastars withdrawal take in New Zealand?

Approval takes about an hour, or up to 24 hours for a large amount. Visa, Skrill and crypto payouts then leave within about 20 minutes, while bank transfers take 2–5 business days, with NZ public holidays not counted. Some Trustpilot reviewers report one to two weeks, often alongside requests for bank statements.

What is the fastest way to withdraw from Vegastars?

Verify first, then use Visa, Skrill or crypto. A verified request of ordinary size can be on its way about an hour and twenty minutes after you submit it. Bank transfer is the slowest route, and a Mastercard deposit puts you on it.

How do Vegastars crypto withdrawals work?

Crypto goes back in the coin you deposited, one of 16 including BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC and XRP. It is sent about 20 minutes after approval, and network confirmations add time on your side. Because a wallet holds either fiat or crypto, pick the right type before your first deposit.

Are there fees on Vegastars withdrawals?

Vegastars doesn’t publish a withdrawal fee table for New Zealand. Clause 10.8 lets it pass on processing costs, and since the site’s internal operating currency is the euro (clause 12.4), a conversion can apply to an NZD balance. Check the final amount on the confirmation screen.

Can I withdraw to Mastercard in New Zealand?

No. Vegastars’ terms limit Mastercard payouts to a list of European countries, and New Zealand isn’t on it. A Mastercard deposit is paid back by bank transfer, 2–5 business days after approval. Visa payouts are available to New Zealand players.

Do I pay tax on Vegastars winnings in New Zealand?

According to Inland Revenue (IRD), winnings from recreational gambling are generally not taxed in New Zealand. Different rules can apply if gambling forms part of a business or another taxable activity, and IRD has not published guidance specific to offshore online casinos. This is general information, not tax advice.
